Owhefere mourns over death of Malaka ~ Truth Reporters 



The Majority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly and Honourable member representing Isoko North Constituency, Hon. Tim Kome Owhefere, has described the death of Hon. Efe Kelvin Malaka, as "painful, tragic and heartbreaking".

Hon. Malaka who was knocked down Friday morning in Ozoro, the capital of Isoko North Local Government, by a reckless hit and run driver, was until his untimely death the Councillor representing Oyede Ward 1 in Isoko North Legislative House.

Owhefere in a personally signed condolence message to the Malaka family and entire Oyede Community, enjoined them to take solace in God almighty who alone knows our end from the very beginning.

Media Consultant to the Majority Leader, Palmer Ogheneyole Nathaniel in a statement on Sunday in Emevor said House Leader was devastated by the news of the untimely passing of Hon. Malaka and urged security agencies to unravel the circumstances surrounding his death and bring the culprits to book with a view to avoiding future occurrence.

"I am seriously saddenned to hear the news of the demise of Hon. Malaka. He was a gentleman and a loyal party man. More heartbreaking is the way and manner death snatched him from us. Although this very unfortunate, painful and tragic incidence has left an indelible scar in our hearts, we must take solace in Christ Jesus who knew our end from our very beginning. May his soul rest in peace", the statement reads in part.
