APC Owhelogbo Ward 5 Mobilises for 2027, Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori, Others ~ Truth Reporters
The All Progressives Congress (APC), Owhelogbo Ward 5 in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made at a stakeholders’ meeting convened by the Ward Leader, Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Samuel Macaulay, Okiroro of Isoko Nation and former Secretary to the Delta State Government, at his residence over the weekend.
A motion for the endorsement was moved by Hon. Efe Olokor and seconded by Hon. Goddey Atanometa before it was unanimously adopted by the Unit Leaders present.
The meeting brought together the 25 Unit Chairmen in the ward, as well as three leaders from each unit. The stakeholders also endorsed other APC candidates seeking election to the Senate, House of Representatives and Delta State House of Assembly, while pledging to mobilise support and secure victory for the party at the grassroots.
Addressing the gathering, Macaulay charged the Unit Chairmen and leaders to intensify mobilisation within their respective units and work closely with party members to deliver substantial votes for the APC candidates. He stressed that effective grassroots organisation would be crucial to the party’s performance in the 2027 elections.
The former SSG also appealed to party members to maintain unity and avoid internal disagreements, noting that personal differences and unnecessary grievances could undermine the collective interest of the party. He urged the leaders to put aside individual interests, strengthen cooperation and remain focused on the common objective of electoral victory.
His call was supported by Chief Elder Jonathan Ugu and Comrade Ogaga Yole, who urged party members to close ranks, deepen cooperation at the unit level and remain committed to building a stronger APC in Owhelogbo Ward 5 ahead of the 2027 general elections.
