Endorsement of Tinubu, Oborevwori by Delta ljaw: Don't bother campaigning to us, Andaye taunts opposition parties ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi local government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has urged opposition political parties in Delta , not to bother campaigning to the Ijaw speaking areas , as their decision to endorse President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as their sole candidates for the 2027 general elections remain sacrosanct.

The Bomadi Council Boss therefore gave an audacious pronouncement , that the ljaw speaking areas of the state , is a "no go area" for any opposition party to campaign for votes.

Andaye, while speaking with newsmen at the premises of the Ultra Modern Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori Multi purpose Event Centre, Bomadi, venue of the historic grand reception for Governor Oborevwori, reeled out a list of landmark projects and human capital largesse bequeathed to the ljaw nation , by Governor Oborevwori.

According to the State ALGON Secretary, the people of ljaw had never had it so good, judging from Oborevwori's kind disposition towards the ljaw people.

The elated Hon Dagidi Andaye, said the presence of the Bayelsa State Governor who doubles as Governor General of ljaw nation, Senator Douye Diri, the President of Ijaw National Council, ( INC) Worldwide , Professor Benjamin Okaba, creme dela creme of the ljaw nation comprising of Traditional Rulers , corporate czars as well as elected and appointed public officers of the ljaw extraction , spoke volumes of the high regard Governor Oborevwori , is accorded by the people.

In addition also, Hon Andaye said the conferment of the traditional award of IZONEBIMIEWEI (the man that does good), of Delta State, by the Delta Ijaw Traditional Rulers Forum, is the icing on the cake for the total acceptance by the ljaw people, of the Governor.

The Bomadi Council Chairman who doubled as Security sub Committee Chairman of the entire planning committee headed by Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Oborevwori, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, said he was proud that for the first time under his watch and in the history of Bomadi local government Area, such a high profile  grand reception for any Governor of Delta State, held on Bomadi soil with huge success and zero incident.

Andaye urged the ljaw nation to display the solidarity and love for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori , to ensure their reelection cone the 2027 general election, aspiring that as the Council Boss of Bomadi, he will ensure the full activation of the endorsement in his local government.
