The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has counselled  newly wedded couples to build their union on love , patience and mutual respect, noting that such foundation will weather the storms of matrimony when they come .

The Bomadi Council Boss, gave the wise counsel on Sunday February 15, 2026, during the traditional marriage reception of Mr Seaman Oyabugha , and former Miss Lilian Oroso , at the prestigious Don Rose Event Centre, Ughelli, in Ughelli North .

Andaye told the couple that marriage being a holy and honourable institution ordained by God, must be kept sacred and built on oneness of heart, trust and above all, love for one another.

The colourful ceremony which was also attended by the wife of the Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye, featured rich cultural displays , goodwill messages and sonorous music from Ijaw legendary musical icon, Chief Barrister Smooth, whose musical performance kept guests on their feet throughout the event , with his energetic delivery and captivating tunes .

The event attracted a massive turnout of family members , friends, and we'll wishers, who gathered to celebrate the couple and offer prayers for a lifetime of love , peace and prosperity for them.

The memorable event ended with Hon Andaye praying for God's continuous blessings upon the newly wedded Oyabughas, just as he wished them enduring happiness , harmony and fruitful bliss and prosperity ahead
