Andaye, Macaulay, Owelaemi, others, attend Mama Muturu's remembrance in Bomadi ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, was among dignitaries that graced the one-year remembrance thanksgiving and reception ceremony for late Mama Senior Boanerge Muturu ( Nee Ogun) , on Saturday January 24th , 2026, at Bomadi , the LGA headquarters.

Among others present to honour Mama Muturu, mother of a prominent political stakeholder in Bomadi, Engr Francis Muturu ( aka "General Aboy") , were former Bomadi Council Chairman , Dr Denghan Macaulay , and former Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) President, Barr Pereotu Oweilaemi, among others.

The solemn one year remembrance of the matriarch of the Muturu family of Bomadi, brought together family members , friends , associates , as well as well wishers who assembled to honour the life and enduring legacy of Mama, reflecting on her values and contributions to family and society at large 

In his remarks at the event , Hon Dagidi Andaye extended his heartfelt condolences to the Muturu family , encouraging them to find solace in the commendations bestowed on Mama , as well as drawing inspiration from the impactful life she lived , while on pilgrim earth.

The one year remembrance ceremony for the Muturu matriarch  which was conducted in a dignified and solemn atmosphere , witnessed prayers, heartfelt reflections on her life and times, as well as outpouring of tributes in celebration of a life well lived .

The Bomadi Council Chairman's presence at the ceremony , further highlighted his commitment to compassionate leadership as well as his continuous engagement with the community , especially during times of bereavement and remembrance.
