Ughelli South Chairman, Avweromre, inaugurates 1st constituency project, commends Councilor Akoyere ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Ughelli South local Government Council, Hon ( Dr) Lucky Avweromre, JP, has commended the Councilor representing Ewu ( DSIEC) Ward 3, Hon Joy Akoyere, for her initiative and commitment towards improving the standard of education in her constituency .

The Council Boss also stated that Akoyere,s initiative , is a significant step towards enhancing the learning experience for pupils in the primary schools of Ewu ( DSIEC) Ward 3 Constituency in Ughelli South LGA.

Speaking while commissioning 200 student desks for Orere , Olodiama, Etefe, Assah, and Omafuvwe Primary schools courtesy of Hon Akoyere,s Constituency project initiative, Dr Avweromre , represented by the Council,s Vice Chairman, Hon Happy Mukoro, charged the beneficiary school headmasters and community leaders to ensure that the donated desks are properly maintained and utilized for the purpose for which they were donated.

The Ughelli South Council Boss , disclosed that his administration was poised to reposition  the infrastructural deficit  in primary schools across the local government, hence his presence at the commissioning of Hon Akoyere,s constituency project of 200 school desks .

In her response, the Ewu ( DSIEC) Ward 3 Councilor, Hon Joy Akoyere, expressed deep gratitude to the Council Chairman, Dr Avweromre , for finding time to commission the first constituency project undertaken by a Councilor in the local government area

She expressed profound joy in fulfilling her promise to provide school desks to the five public primary schools in her constituency , pledging to always support infrastructural and human capital needs of the schools from time to time .

Also commending the donor in their separate remarks, Comrade Johnson Otuowhoeroro, the headmaster of Orere Primary school , on behalf of the headmasters of the benefitting schools, and the benefitting communities Presidents General and Chairmen, commended Hon Akoyere for bringing relief to the pupils in the five schools in her constituency, adding that the kind gesture will greatly improve the quality of their learning environment

They added that the historic donation of the 200 desks , is a testament to Hon Akoyere,s dedication to improving education in her constituency, as well as her commitment to serving her people

Highpoints of the commissioning of the first constituency project  in Ughelli south by the Council Chairman, was the formal cutting of the tape by the Chairman,s representative, Hon Happy Mukoro, and presentation of the desks to the beneficiary heads of the various schools amidst widespread jubilation by the appreciative pupils .

Among those who witnessed the event are the HOD Works , Engr Enakireru Elohor, Hon Sunday Ejeata, Mr Edison Inside, SSA to Gov Oborevwori, Mr Okenabirhie , Supervisory Councilor for Education, Mrs Josephine Ediafiamredje, the President-General Orere Community , Mrs Josephine Oromata, Leader , Avweromre Women in Politics, Mr Richard, Olodiama Community Chairman, High Chief Sargin Obokpare 1 of Ewu Urhobo kingdom, and Amb Tameta Sunday, among others .
