Rep. Ezechi Celebrates NNU President Amaechi Asugwuni on Birthday, Praises His Legacy of Service ~ Truth Reporters

The Member representing Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, has extended warm felicitations to Chief Amaechi Asugwuni, President General of the Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU), on the occasion of his birthday.

 

In a goodwill message released from his office in Abuja, Rep. Ezechi described Chief Asugwuni as a committed advocate of good governance and a tireless champion of workers’ rights in Nigeria.

 

"Over the years, you've proven beyond every reasonable doubt your consistency in advocating for good governance," Ezechi noted. 

He highlighted Asugwuni's remarkable contributions during his time with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), where he played a key role in spearheading peaceful agitations for improved welfare packages for Nigerian workers, efforts which earned him national recognition and honours.

 

Now serving as the President General of the apex socio-cultural body of the Ndokwa people, Ezechi expressed confidence in Asugwuni’s ability to steer the NNU towards developmental progress for the Ndokwa nation.

 

“I’m very optimistic that you will bring your wealth of experience in strengthening Ndokwa’s purposeful agenda for development,” he said.

 

Concluding his message, Rep. Ezechi offered prayers for continued blessings and divine favour on Chief Asugwuni and his family.

 

"Congratulations PG! Congratulations my very dear brother!" the lawmaker wrote.

 

The NNU, under Chief Asugwuni’s leadership, is expected to play a strategic role in fostering unity and advocating for the socio-economic advancement of the Ndokwa region in Delta State.
