2027: Ughelli South United Forum endorse Tinubu, Oborevwori, as Sobotie, lzeze commend group ~ Truth Reporters

A political pressure group comprising political appointees and stakeholders from the Eleven ( 11) wards of Ughelli South under the aegis of Ughelli South United Forum ( USUF), has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, as their unopposed candidates for the 2027 Presidential and Delta governorship elections , respectively

The group , led by the Executive Assistant ( EA) on Security to Governor Oborevwori, Chief Godwin Okporoko, pledged to rally support from their various units and wards in Ughelli south local government , to ensure total victory for the All Progressives Congress ( APC), by also  strengthening voter registration advocacy in their areas .

The endorsement of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori was pronounced when the body paid visits to the Delta State Chairman of the APC, Elder Omeni Sobotie, and Commissioner for Works ( Highways and Urban Roads) , Comrade Reuben lzeze , at the Party ( APC) secretariat , and Commissioner,s office , respectively, in Asaba

In his address on behalf of the group,s Chairman, the spokesman and currently Senior Special Assistant on Political matters to Governor Oborevwori, Chief Michael Oshetigho, assured Delta APC Chairman , Elder Omeni Sobotie, of the Ughelli South United Forum,s  determination to ensure that no stone is left unturned in delivering the local government for President Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori,s reelection as well as other APC Candidates , in the 2027 general elections

He assured the state party Chairman of the forum,s desire to work with the party at the local government, Senatorial and state levels, for the purpose of  ensuring a formidable united front , going forward

In his response , Elder Omeni Sobotie commended the forum members for taking the initiative to interact with the party leadership in the state , with a view to strengthening the bonds of unity and fine-tuning strategies that will ensure Ughelli South surpasses it's past electoral records of previous elections

The State APC Chairman    assured them that all members were of equal status and entitled to the same benefits as there is nothing like new or old members .

Elder Sobotie emphasized that any party which contested against the APC in Delta State would meet "a brick wall" , due to the formidable strenght the party currently enjoys in it's membership and unity of purpose

At the office of the Commissioner for Works ( Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze, the forum,s Chairman and Executive Assistant on Security to Governor Oborevwori, Chief Godwin Okporoko, said they were in the Commissioner,s office to  seek his support in their cause of advancing the reelection of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, come 2027

Okporoko lauded lzeze for being not only a worthy son of Ughelli south local government , but also for adhering strictly to the quality standards in project execution under his ministry,s mandate , thus aligning with the Renewed hope MORE agenda of the Oborevwori administration

In his response , Comrade Izeze commended the group for taking the bull by the horns in championing the cause of Governor Oborevwori,s reelection

The Works Commissioner charged the group to remain resolute and focused in articulating it's programmes in order to sustain the tempo of reaching out to the people of Ughelli south from the unit to ward level

Among those present at the twin visits were the forum,s Vice Chairman and one time Chairman of Ughelli south , Rt Hon Josephine Oduaran, Executive Assistant on Political matters , Chief Vincent Oduaran, and Chief Ogaga Etaga, JP.

Others include Chief Gordons Okomitie, Comrade Benjamin Omogosibo, Chief Okiemute Oviri, Chief Jamaica Ekawu, Waka Arthur, Comrade Sylvester Ebivwiere, Comrade Homes Oteri , Evangelist Charles Buluku ,and the forum,s Secretary and Majority Leader of Ughelli South Legislative Arm,  Hon Bright Ovayero.
