Easter: Ejiofor Urges Ubulu-Uku to Uphold Traditions ~ Truth Reporters

The Onishe ( Prime minister) of Ubulu-uku kingdom in Aniocha South, Chief Emma Ejiofor, PhD, has tasked his kith and kin not to jettison the age long norms and customs that have guided them for generations.

He , in the same vein, admonished them to uphold the principles of fairness and legitimacy , adding that a hasty or ill- considered action, borne out of self interest , rather than the common good , will ultimately serve no one .

The Onishe , in his Easter message to do sons and daughters of Ubulu-Uku kingdom, however noted that the kingdom is currently navigating a delicate situation concerning it's traditional institution, while expressing his deep concern over attempts to politicize this sacred institution.

Chief Emma Ejiofor described Easter as a period of renewal , forgiveness and unity , therefore calling on all and sundry  to  prioritize the well-being of the community  by working together in good faith, to  arrive at an amicable resolution that respects Ubulu traditions , honours her shared values , and ensures a stable and prosperous future for all.

Said the traditional Prime Minister : "As the vibrant hues of Easter paint the landscape, signaling renewal and rebirth, l extend to you all, my warmest wishes for a blessed and reflective season. Easter as it's core, is a celebration of hope triumphing over adversity , a testament to the power of new beginnings. The spirit of Easter_ of renewal , forgiveness and unity_ calls upon us to rise above personal ambition, and prioritize the well being of our entire community".

Chief Ejiofor emphasized that as the kingdom,s Prime Minister entrusted with the responsibility of upholding the traditions and customs of the people , and ensuring the well-being of the community , he implores all stakeholders to engage in thoughtful reflection and reasoned dialogue , tasking them to remember the wisdom inherent in their traditions about legitimacy to occupy the revered traditional stool of their ancestors.

He therefore charged the people of Ubulu to embrace the Easter season by reaching out to their neighbours, offering support to those in need , and reaffirming the collective commitment to the values that bind them together as kinsmen, by together nurturing the seeds of progress and growth .
