...Signs Joint Venture with Noble Monarch Realtors

 

The corporate profile of Canaan Land Golf and Country Club, Koko, received a major boost penultimate Thursday following the official signing of a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with leading real estate firm, Noble Monarch Realty Investment Limited.

 

With this partnership, the Koko-based resort centre has been positioned for greater expansion and diversification, emerging as one of the most promising golf and leisure destinations in the Niger Delta region.

 

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Canaan Land Golf and Country Club, Mr. Felix Aganbi, said the organization is diversifying into estate development and world-class leisure services, driven by a cardinal vision to restore Koko to its pride of place as an investment-friendly destination in an atmosphere of peace and happiness.

 

According to him, the development is poised to elevate Koko town to international recognition in the noble game of golf.

 

The JV signing ceremony, attended by leading members of Canaan Land Golf and Country Club, was witnessed by Elder Tunde Aganbi, family head of the Aganbi dynasty, and Chairman of the Koko Community Management Authority (KCMA), Dr. Chris Eburajolo Uwale, represented by the Treasurer, Hon. Esiategiwa Jolomi, alongside other stakeholders.

 

Ambassador Sydney Leo led the Noble Monarch Realty Investment Limited team to the event, accompanied by top executives of the company, to seal the agreement.

 

The landmark partnership heralds the upcoming Canaan Land Smart City Project, which will be formally unveiled during a professional and amateur golf tournament scheduled for December 12–14, 2025. The event will also feature the public presentation of the new estate development within the resort.

 

A rehearsal golf outing was held to mark the event, featuring top golfers from across Nigeria, including players from Benin Golf Club, Shell Club Ogunu–Warri, and Port Harcourt Golf Club, led by its President, Mr. Tunde Jackson.

 

Among those who participated in the early tee-offs were Barr. (Mrs.) Sala Oise, Tunde Jackson, Bawo Ayomike, Joe Jakpa, Omosigho Obakpolo, Pastor Ufuoma Atiyor, and first-timer Elder Tunde Aganbi, under the enthusiastic leadership of the host, Mr. Felix Aganbi.

 

Special attention was drawn to the impressive participation of 83-year-old Sapele golfer, Pa Amos Ederiagba, who played under the watchful eyes of the Lady Captain, Ms. Lucky Akpeyi.

 

In his remarks, Elder Tunde Aganbi paid tribute to the divine grace that inspired the establishment of Canaan Land, describing it as the vision and legacy of Deacon (Emeritus) Barr. Stephen Aganbi, whom he hailed as “a perfect father, a gift from God to our family, Koko community, the Itsekiri nation, the Baptist Church, and a man of many parts.”
