Delta-Owned Dennis Osadebay University Opens 2026/2027 Admission Exercise, Announces Available Courses ~ Truth Reporters

Dennis Osadebay University (DOU), Asaba, has announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 admission exercise for prospective students seeking admission into the Delta State Government-owned institution.

According to information released by the university, candidates who selected Dennis Osadebay University as their first choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are eligible to apply.

The institution also extended an opportunity to UTME and Direct Entry candidates who did not initially select the university as their first choice but are willing to change their institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Established in 2021, the university said it remains committed to shaping the future of students through innovation and technology.

The university listed a wide range of programmes across several faculties, including Allied Health Sciences, Environmental Science, Arts, Science, Management Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, Agriculture, Computing, and Law.

Available courses include Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Pharmacy, Architecture, Accounting, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Mass Communication, International Relations, Public Administration, and Law, among others.

The admission requirements indicate that candidates must possess at least five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in SSCE or its equivalent.

Direct Entry candidates with OND or HND qualifications are also eligible, provided they possess the required academic credentials.

The university stated that applications are to be completed online through its official portal, with an application fee of N2,000.

The admission exercise commenced on May 25, 2026, and is expected to close on August 30, 2026.

The institution encouraged qualified candidates to take advantage of the opportunity to pursue higher education and build careers in their chosen fields.
