Okowa’s Senior Polad rejoices with Delta PDP candidates ~ Truth Reporters

 

All aspirants who have emerged as candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the 2023 general elections in Delta state, have been advised to effectively manage their victories for the overall interest of the party.

The Senior Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Funkekeme Solomon, gave the advice in a congratulatory message to the candidates.

Rt. Hon. Solomon said the candidates should see their emergence as a victory for the party rather than self, stressing that they should not use the opportunity to mock their opponents or make them feel inferior to the system.

He congratulated them on their emergence, which he remarked was a mark of confidence and reminded them that the journey to their respective seats had just begun, as they were expected to campaign rigorously for votes in the main election come 2023.

The Senior POLAD thanked the party's delegates who voted at the primaries to nominate House of Assembly, House of Representatives, senatorial and governorship candidates, saying that the party was gladdened by their peaceful and orderly conduct before and during the primaries.

Rt. Hon. Solomon urged all PDP members in the state to remain committed to advancing the ideals of the party and avoid acts capable of affecting the winning chances of the party in the next year's elections.
