Orogun kingdom to hold annual conference Oct. 2-3 ~ Truth Reporters

All is now set for Orogun Kingdom to hold her 2-day annual conference slated for Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of October, 2021 at Orogun Primary School Play Ground, Orogun Town, in Ughelli North, L.G.A., Delta State.

A statement jointly issued and signed by Chief Benson Ndakara (Esq), and Evangelist Godspower Odenema, President General of Orogun Kingdom and Chairman, Orogun Conference Planning Committee respectively, states that “the conference, which promises to be very robust and engaging, is unique because this is the first time it will be hosted after an interregnum of over thirty (30) years and will draw participants from the five sub clans that make up Orogun kingdom to discuss on how to position the kingdom on the path of economic and political recovery in line with 21st century realities”

The Conference, whose theme is “Economic and Political Development of Orogun Kingdom” would be graced by eminent personalities of Orogun, including Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Deputy President, Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HRM-Apkojotor Ekpo 1, the Okpara-Uku of Orogun Kingdom, Chief Benson Ndakara, President General of Orogun, and chaired by Sir DR. P. O. Itedjere (KSM JP), with papers to be delivered by erudite scholars including: Prof. G.G. Darah, Prof. Douglas Omotor, Dr. Otive Igbuzor, Prof. Sunny Awhefeada among others.

The release further urged the target participants to turn out enmass and be upbeat about taking Orogun to the next level.
