Iteire assures Isoko North Councillors of more support ~ Truth Reporters




In order to enhance legislative productivity in Isoko North Local Government Area, Hon. Christian Othuke Iteire has pledged more support of his administration to Councillors representing various wards for them to deliver on the hopes and aspirations of their grassroot constituents who elected them into offices.


The Isoko-North Council Chairman gave the assurance on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his office in the Council Secretariat in Ozoro when he received on courtesy visit, principal officers and members of the Isoko North Legislative Arm led by the leader, Rt Hon Udubra Francis, after their one month of recess and subsequent resumption of Legislative duties.


Iteire noted that, members of the executive arm and legislature arm are all working for the collective good of the people of the Local Government Area, stating that, productivity was central as the people of their respective wards are looking up to the Isoko North legislature to ensure the dividends of democracy are properly delivered by the executive arm under his Chairmanship.


While appreciating members of the Isoko North Legislative Arm for their support in the past six months, especially for the passage of executive bills brought to the House, the Isoko North Council boss called on more collaborations and synergies that would not only work, but are sustainable in the overall interest and good of the people of the world Local Government Area.


Speaking, the leader of Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon Udubra, While thanking the Council Chairman for his support to the Legislature, said that, though as legislators representing their people who elected them, and as members of the Legislature they are partners in progress, and are not in competition with the executive arm.


He assured the Isoko North Local Government Council Chairman of the legislative support of the members of the Isoko North Legislature in ensuring the developmental agenda of the Local Government administration are delivered without legislative hindrances.
