The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has commended former Governor of Delta State , Senator Dr lfeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, for his visionary leadership which has in no small way impacted on the State .

Hon Andaye stated that Senator Okowa's impressive public service record which climaxed in his two-term stint as the first Anioma born Governor , speaks volumes of his unmatched experience in statecraft .

In his congratulatory message to mark the former Governor's 67th birth anniversary on Wednesday July 8, 2026, the Bomadi Council Boss added that Senator Okowa's unwavering support for his successor, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , gladdens the hearts of the people of Bomadi in particular, and we'll meaning Deltans in general .

According to Hon Andaye , Okowa's calm mien and strategic statesmanship attributes has in no small measure , endeared him to all and sundry, singling him out as a leader committed to bridging divides and ensuring equality and inclusiveness in the development of the state .
