Macaulay Pushes Isoko-Ndokwa Alliance for Tinubu, Oborevwori ~ Truth Reporters

Former Secretary to the Delta State Government (SSG) and the Okiroro of Isoko Nation, Comrade (Chief) Ovuozourie Samuel Macaulay, has called for a stronger political alliance between the Isoko and Ndokwa ethnic nationalities to ensure the successful re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections.

Macaulay made the call when he received a delegation of political leaders from Ndokwa East, led by Barr. Sam Chukwuji, a former Chairman of Ndokwa East Local Government Area and a chieftain of the APC in Ndokwa Nation, at his country home in Owhelogbo, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Addressing the delegation, the former SSG stressed the importance of strengthening the existing bond between the Isoko and Ndokwa people, describing both ethnic nationalities as long-standing partners whose relationship has been reinforced over the years through inter-marriages, shared cultural values, and mutual socio-economic interests.

He noted that the time had come for both groups to translate their age-long relationship into a formidable political partnership capable of delivering overwhelming electoral victories for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori, and other APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

According to Macaulay, unity, grassroots mobilisation, and sustained collaboration among political stakeholders in both ethnic nationalities are essential to achieving electoral success and attracting greater dividends of democracy to the people.

He urged leaders and party faithful across Isoko and Ndokwa to close ranks, remain focused on their shared interests, and work together to ensure the APC records impressive victories at all levels. He added that the political and developmental aspirations of both ethnic nationalities would be better realised through a united front.

The former SSG further disclosed his intention to embark on wider consultations with political leaders and other critical stakeholders across Ndokwa and Isoko nations to strengthen unity, forge a formidable political alliance, and promote sustainable development in both ethnic nationalities.

Responding on behalf of the delegation, Barr. Sam Chukwuji thanked Comrade Macaulay for the warm reception and formally introduced members of the delegation, explaining that they were drawn from various communities across Ndokwa East Local Government Area.

Barr. Chukwuji assured the former SSG that the delegation shared his vision of strengthening political cooperation between the Isoko and Ndokwa people and pledged their full support for the initiative.

He also endorsed the proposed consultations, stating that they would be aimed at galvanising massive grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and other APC candidates. He expressed confidence that a united Isoko-Ndokwa political front would significantly contribute to the APC's success in the forthcoming general elections.
