Inter House Sports: Andaye charges Bomadi students to blend studies with sports participation ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has charged students in the area to remain committed to their studies while actively participating in sports and other extra-curricular activities that help them build confidence, leadership , and team work .

He equally reiterated his administration's continued commitment towards supporting educational growth and youth development , across Bomadi Local Government Area.

Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye stated these at the 17th Annual Inter-House Sports Competition of Kpakiama Secondary School, Kpakiama , in Bomadi local government area , on Friday March 6th, 2026.

The Council Chairman commended the management of the school for sustaining the tradition of inter house athletics competition for the 17th year running .

He noted that such activities play a vital role in promoting discipline , unity and physical fitness among young people , as well as providing a platform for discovering and nurturing sporting talents.

The colourful event attracted students, staff of the school , parents and community leaders , who assembled at the school field , to witness a vibrant display of athletic skills , team work, and healthy competition among the competing houses .

The inter house athletics competition of Kpakiama Secondary School , Bomadi , also featured various track and field activities aimed at promoting sportsmanship and unity , among the students .
