Exco approval of key infrastructure projects in Bomadi, Ijaw LGAs: Andaye appreciates Gov Oborevwori ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, for approving key internal road projects in Bomadi Local Government Area. 

Hon. Andaye noted that the approvals were granted during the State Executive Council meeting presided over by the governor on Friday, March 13, 2026, describing the decision as a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development and inclusive governance across Delta State.

The council chairman specifically thanked the governor for approving the construction of the following internal roads in Bomadi:

I. Dr. Deingha Macaulay Link Road

II. Orubiri Link Road

He stated that these two critical roads will significantly improve connectivity within Bomadi, ease transportation for residents, and enhance both social and economic activities in the local government area.

Hon. Andaye further noted that the inclusion of Bomadi in the list of approved projects reflects Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to riverine communities and his determination to ensure equitable development across Delta State. He expressed the gratitude of the people of Bomadi for the governor’s attention to their infrastructural needs.

He also commended the governor for approving other major projects across Ijaw communities, emphasizing that these initiatives will drive growth, improve living standards, and strengthen economic opportunities. 

Hon. Andaye assured the governor of the continued support and cooperation of the people of Bomadi Local Government Area as the administration implements these impactful projects.
