The Director General of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency (DSCTDA), Hon. Patrick Ukah, on Wednesday carried out an intensive inspection of ongoing road projects in Oshimili South Local Government Area, with a stern charge to contractors to ensure quality delivery and timely completion.

The projects inspected include the construction and rehabilitation of the Okwe Market–Umuapa Quarters Road–St. Theresa Catholic Church Road–Old Oko Road in Okwe, covering a total length of 1,605 meters, as well as the construction of Chris Abudei Street and Ogbueshi M. Onochie Street in Asaba, spanning 2.6 kilometers.

Ukah, who was accompanied by the DSCTDA Project Manager, Engr. Bawo Atsiangbe, warned that the Agency would not compromise on standards, stressing that all works must conform to approved specifications.

“These projects are critical to opening up communities, easing mobility, and boosting socio-economic activities. Contractors must understand that there is no room for shortcuts. DSCTDA will be on ground to monitor every stage,” Ukah stated.

He further assured residents that the Agency remains fully committed to driving infrastructural development across the capital territory, adding that government resources must translate into visible and lasting impact.
