Otuaro mourns Asagba of Asaba ~ Truth Reporters






His Excellency Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, has conveyed his profound grief over the demise of the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Professor Joseph Chike Edozien, CFR.


Otuaro lamented that the passing of Obi Edozien represents a significant loss not only to the Asaba community but also to the entire country.


Reflecting on his encounters with Professor Edozien during his service as Deputy Governor, Otuaro holds the times spent with the revered royal personality in high regard, counting them among the most significant experiences of his administrative career.


He stated, "During my tenure as Delta State's Deputy Governor, my engagements with him were frequent, and I look back on those interactions as some of the highlights of my time in office."


As he offers his condolences to the mourning royal family and the Asaba populace, Otuaro calls upon divine strength to help them endure this challenging time.


"The absence of his majesty is surely a profound one for the Asaba realm and for our nation at large.


"In this time of mourning, my sincere condolences go to the royal family and the people of Asaba. It is my prayer that God provides them with fortitude to bear this great loss.
