Okonji appreciates Okowa for inaugurating multiple projects in Asaba ~ Truth Reporters

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oshimili South Local Government Area, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for executing people-oriented projects in the area.

Ogbueshi Okonji’s commendation came after Okowa had accompanied the Presidential Candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and other dignitaries of the party to inaugurate multiple projects in Asaba, the state capital.

Some of the projects inaugurated by Atiku Abubakar include the Koka Flyover and Interchange, the Model Technical College, and the Leisure Park, Film Village and Zoo named after Nigeria’s former First Lady, Maryam Babangida.

In a chat with our correspondent, Ogbueshi Okonji said that the people of Oshimili South would remain eternally grateful to Governor Okowa for his enduring legacies, which would continue to impact lives for years to come.

While thanking the Governor for naming the Leisure Park and Film Village after an illustrious daughter of the state capital, Ogbueshi Okonji said that the facility would boost tourism in the area and further add to the fortunes of the state.

In the same vein, he said that the Technical College would serve as a veritable platform to harness the talents of youths and mold them into entrepreneurs, just as he noted the economic and safety importance of the Koka Interchange on the Asaba/Onitsha Expressway.

Likewise, Ogbueshi Okonji thanked Alhaji Abubakar for finding Governor Okowa, an eminent son of the Anioma nation, worthy of being his running mate.

To that end, Ogbueshi Okonji assured Alhaji Abubakar that the entire Oshimili South area would vote 100 percent for him and all candidates of the PDP during the forthcoming general elections.

Ogbueshi Okonji said that the administration of Alhaji Abubakar and his running mate, Governor Okowa, would salvage Nigeria from its current challenges imposed by the maladministration of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He charged all residents of Oshimili South to turn up en masse with their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) on Election Day(s) and vote for all candidates of the Umbrella Party for a unified Nigeria.
