Oborevwori's victory signals new frontier for Deltans - Askia Ogieh ~ Truth Reporters

Former Managing Director of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) Bashorun Askia Ogieh has congratulated Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2023 Governorship election.

Askia in a statement he personally signed described the victory as the beginning of a new frontier for Deltans. 

"On behalf of my political family, Hope Alive, and my entire dedicated followers and ardent believers, I wish to specially salute my bosom friend, political ally, consummate politician, astute and tactical mobiliser and front line legislator, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, Honourable Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, for emerging as the flag bearer at the Governorship Primaries of our great party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

"We did not anticipate a political earthquake as it happened, we merely set out to ensure that a popularly accepted grassroots man with humane traits emerged as our candidate and the discerning members of our party, the PDP, saw all that in you and have so endorsed you through their votes, to fly our flag to victory in 2023.

It is the pure testament of your well earned credibility over the years.
