Funkekeme to chair ICAN investiture in June ~ Truth Reporters

 

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Asaba and District Society has unveiled the Senior Political Adviser (SPOLAD) to Governor Okowa of Delta State, Rt Hon Funkekeme Solomon as the Chairman of the inauguration and investiture event scheduled for June, 2022.

This was disclosed today when a delegation of ICAN, Delta State District, paid the SPOLAD a courtesy visit in his office in Asaba, the State capital.

In their speeches, the immediate past Chairman, Sir Cosmas Onyenaju,

the current chairman Mrs Ejiroghene Jacdonmi, and the vice chairman Mr. Daniel Odeh  respectively, had congratulated Rt Hon Funkekeme Solomon for his re-appointment as SPOLAD.

They showered praises on the Senior Political Adviser for his insight, perceptivity and wisdom in the management of human and material resources in his various roles over the years.

They particularly thanked the SPOLAD for accepting to honour their invite as chairperson at their next inauguration event of June 2022.

Responding, Rt Hon Funkekeme extolled the beneficial qualities of accountants saying they were better known for their diligence and hard work that fosters accountability in an organization.

He particularly singled out for accolade the leadership structure of ICAN pointing out that the established succession plan of the organization will engender a rancor free election in any institution.

Rt Hon Funkekeme said he feels honoured not only to be invited by ICAN Asaba District Society for the forthcoming investiture but to also preside over the ceremony scheduled for June 2022.
