2023: James Welch Old Boys Endorse Ukodhiko For Reps ~ Truth Reporters

The class of 1986 -1990 of James Welch Grammar School Emevor old boys association, one of the oldest secondary schools in Isoko Nation, Sunday, pledged their unwavering support to the political aspiration of Pastor (Engr.) Jonathan Ukodhiko, the Delta State Commissioner for Energy.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Sylvester Ifode, described Pastor Ukodhiko as one of their own, and stated that since their days together in secondary school, they have always known him to be a humble, straightforward, and respectful personality, whose humility trait is an innate trait.

He assured that James Welch Grammar School Emevor old boys association will rally round Ukodhiko, because he has distinguished himself as a worthy ambassador of the school.

"Members of the association agreed in their last meeting to give you their unwavering support, and we are here today, to deliver that message to you," said.

Hon. Ifode while ending his speech, invited other members of the association to join him, as they present to the Honorable Commissioner, branded face caps, with the inscription 'WE STAND WITH UKODHIKO'.

Pastor Ukodhiko, while responding to the endorsement by the association, said he's surprised, yet encouraged, by the massive support shown to him by the old boys association of his alma mata, James Welch Grammar School, class of 1986 - 1990.

'This is overwhelming my brothers and seniors, as this support and endorsement means a lot to me. Today is not a day for long speeches, but I want to say; thank you to all members of this noble old boys association for their support, and most especially for the branded items given to me today'

'I want to assure the association that, I will not disappoint them, as the trust reposed on me is unprecedented and unmerited," Ukodhiko stated.

Some of the members of the association present were, Hon Sylvester Ifode, Engr. Omoraro Efenudu, Engr. Joseph Oghenero Uyeri, Mr Ubini Nana, Mr Omoro Harry, Mr Marioghae Majovo, and Chief Mathew Amudede who was with the Honorable commissioner.
