EPM holds inaugural meeting, appoints executives ~ Truth Reporters

A grassroot socio-political group, Everise Progressive Movement, EPM on Saturday held its inaugural meeting and inauguration of executive members.

The meeting, which was held at Owhelogbo, saw Isoko Students’ leaders in tertiary institutions comprising of leaders of the National Union of Isoko Students (NUIS) and young entrepreneurs in Delta State emerging as Executive members of the political support and lobbying group.

In its keynote speech, the National Coordinator of the group, Amb Oghenero Alakpodia stated that, EPM, essentially a youth based support group, poised in ensuring youths of Isoko ethnicity are critically engaged in the areas of decision making in the next dispensation.

Affirming the group’s commitment in supporting credible candidates with requisite competence and capacity both in the private sector and public service and that should be trusted with the representation of the Isoko ethnicity both at the State and Federal Levels

The EPM leader said that the support group would be actively involved in setting the Isoko nation‘s trajectory towards economic growth and development.

Inaugurating executive members of the EPM, the National Coordinator, Alakpodia said, the mission of EPM was to build a formidable political movement that would be counted when it comes to making electoral decisions. 

He charged members to be united, determined and strengthen themselves for the task of mobilizing more supporters for the great cause ahead.

Inaugurated were Oke Omuko as National Secretary, Okoro Daniel, Treasurer, Ajirioghene Oreh publicity Secretary, Victoria Elijah Women leader, Okurame Uyoyo Assistant Woman leader and Juliet Godfrey as Financial Secretary.

Also inaugurated were Melody Okegbe, Oboh Oghenerabome and Oki Omamuzo as Isoko South Chapter‘s Coordinator, Assistant cordinator and Secretary 

While Ugo Agbaide, Izomor Israel and Felix Nigeria emerged as Isoko North chapter’s Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator And Secretary respectively.

 

In their goodwill messages, the trio of Samuel Edoso, Oreva Fenudu and Omuko enjoined members to be proactive and be responsive, expressing confidence in the group’s mission in ensuring growth and development of Isoko Nation by actively participating in the political process.
