Andaye Joins Oborevwori, Governors, Monarchs, Others at Son’s Wedding ~ Truth Reporters

The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on Saturday, 29th August, 2026, joined his boss, the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, at the wedding ceremony of his son, Innocent Oborevwori, and his heartthrob, Tobore Arigbodi, held in Asaba.

The solemnisation of the marriage took place at the Living Faith Church (Winners’ Chapel), Ibusa Road, Asaba, while the reception was held at the Dome Event Centre, Asaba. The ceremony attracted Governors, political leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, business leaders and other distinguished personalities from across the country.

Among the Governors who graced the occasion were Uba Sani of Kaduna State, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State, Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and other state Governors.

Also in attendance were the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo; former Delta State Governors, Chief James Ibori and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa; Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor; members of the National Assembly and other prominent political leaders.

The ceremony further attracted prominent traditional rulers, including the Olu of Warri, HRM Atuwatse III; Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM Major General Felix Mujakperuo (retd.); Dein of Agbor, HRM Keagborekuzi II; and the Asagba of Asaba, Obi Prof. Epiphany Azinge (SAN), alongside other traditional rulers and dignitaries.

At the church service, the State Pastor, Pastor Shiyanbade Adekunle, charged the newlyweds to build their marriage on wisdom, sacrificial love, mutual respect and commitment, describing wisdom as the “working capital of marriage” and urging them to rely on God and His Word.

At the reception, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, who chaired the occasion, congratulated the couple and their families, describing the marriage as a union that brought together two families, histories and destinies.

Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye warmly congratulated the newlyweds, Innocent and Tobore, and prayed that God Almighty bless their marriage with enduring love, peace, wisdom, understanding and a fruitful life together.

He also congratulated his boss, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and the entire Oborevwori family on the joyous occasion, wishing the family continued happiness, peace and God’s abundant blessings.

The Executive Chairman expressed his delight at being part of the memorable celebration and joined family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating the beautiful union, praying that the couple’s home would remain a source of joy, love and lasting fulfilment.
