Iteire congratulates Evivie, thanks voters ~ Truth Reporters

Isoko North Council Chairman, Hon Christian Iteire has congratulated the Member-elect, representing Isoko South Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Ovuakpoye Evivie on his resounding victory at the just concluded by-election held on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

Iteire in a congratulatory message issued on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Ozoro through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ajiri-Oghene Oreh, described the victory of Evivie, as not only a "reaffirmation of the popularity and acceptability of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in Isoko nation, nay, Delta State, but the quality of the candidate".

He stated that, "the victory of the PDP at yesterday's poll in Isoko South is heartwarming and reassuring, and it also, reconfirmed that Isoko South Local Government Area and indeed, Isoko nation, remains a stronghold of the People's Democratic Party”.

The Isoko North Local Government Council boss appreciated the people of Isoko South Constituency 1 for their goodwill, support, and for trooping out enmass to vote massively for the PDP.

While commending the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, the leadership of the PDP in the State and Isoko nation for their efforts that culminated in the victory of party, Hon. Iteire charged "Mr Evivie to vigorously work hard to give the people of Isoko South Constituency 1 efficient and responsive legislative representation in the Delta State House of Assembly, by realising their hopes and aspirations through good bills, motions and the delivery of democracy dividends".
