Isoko South Bye-Election: Ukodhiko canvasses support for Evivie ~ Truth Reporters






The Delta State Commissioner for Energy, Engr. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has charged People's Democratic Party, PDP, faithful in Isoko South on massive support for Hon. Ovuakpoye Evivie in the forthcoming State Assembly bye-election in Isoko South Constituency 1. 


He gave the charge during a meeting with stakeholders and party faithful of Oleh Ward 1 and 2 yesterday evening, at Olive Hotel, Oleh. 


The Honorable Commissioner who is maternally from Oleh said the meeting became necessary to further strengthen party to ensure  victory for PDP come Saturday Sept. 11. 


Addressing party faithful, Ukodhiko said "I enjoin you to work assiduously by taking the Hon. Ovuakpoye Evivie campaign to the nooks and crannies of Oleh, in ensuring absolute victory for the PDP, come Saturday".


In continuation of his stakeholders and party faithfuls meeting in ensuring victory for the PDP in Saturday Bye-election, the Honorable commissioner and his entourage, met with members of the Late Hon. KENNETH OGBA political Family in Dantinajo Gold Resort, Oleh. 


He tasked them to put interest of the party first and build on the legacies of their boss Late Hon. KENNETH OGBA, he pleaded with members of the group to sheathe their swords  saying, saying "for the larger interest of the party and work to deliver PDP and its candidate come Saturday, there's the need for everyone to work together in unity as unity is strength".


Ukodhiko thanked the ward chairmen, unit chairmen, mobilizers and party faithful for honouring his invitation despite the short notice and prayed for Gods blessings upon them as they go to the field. 


On their part, Chairman, People's Democratic Party, PDP, Isoko North Chapter, Deacon Godwin Ogorugba and Commissioner Representing Isoko Ethnic Nationality in Board of DESOPADEC, Dr. Paul Oweh, stressed on the need for continuous unity in the party as it had  been from inception. 


Also present in the meetings were Pastor Sunday Elueni, Special Assistant, SA, to the Honourable Commissioner for Energy, Engr Joseph Oghenero Uyeri, Comr. Erhire Emmanuel among others.
