Delta Councillor, Ofabor donates teaching, learning materials to schools ~ Truth Reporters

The Councillor representing Oyede Ward 2 in the Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon. Onoriode Audrey Ofabor, on Wednesday, donated teaching and learning materials to Oyede Primary School, and Elo-Oghene Primary School in Bethel.

While donating the materials at the two Primary Schools on September 15, 2021, Hon Ofabor said the gesture was borne out of her ardent desire to assist pupils in her ward with educational materials in order to promote academic excellence.

The Legislator commended the Council Chairman, Hon. Christian Iteire for his educational initiatives that are seeing to the revamping of the quality output of Primary Education in the Isoko North Local Government Area, especially, the reintroduction of the adult education programme that would soon commenced in all wards.

Asserting that, Primary education was not the only the foundation for human capital development but national progress, Hon Ofabor assured of her continuous efforts  in complementing those of the Isoko-North Local Government led by the Council chairman, Hon Iteire with a view to achieving the common vision of qualitative and functional primary Education.

Hon Ofabor while speaking to Journalists, appealed to old students' Association's of Primary Schools, social groups, humanitarian clubs and organisations to contribute towards the development of primary schools in the Local Government Area in order to improve on their academic activities.

Responding, the heads of both Oyede Primary School and Elo-Oghene Primary School appreciated and commended the lawmaker, Hon Onoriode Ofabor for the noble gesture and, stated, that, the learning materials would undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of education in the ward.
