COVID-19: Delta records new infections, total now 1575, discharges 1409 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has recorded 18 new cases of the Coronavirus bringing the total infections in the state to 1575 just as the state's active cases rose from 90 to 123 on Friday.

According to figures from the State Ministry of Health, 1,409 patients have been succesfully treated and discharged while 43 fatalities have so far been recorded on account of the pandemic.

The state ranks 7th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo, Rivers and Kano states. The state has so far carried out tests on 7,214 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.
