COVID-19: Delta flattening the curve, discharges 620, new cases drops to 6 ~ Truth Reporters

Delta State has began flattening the curve as the state recorded only 6 new cases of the Coronavirus infections bringing the total confirmed cases to 1398.

The State also has successfully treated and discharged 620 patients with 743 cases as active.

The State Ministry of Health confirmed the figures in their latest report.

Delta still ranks 6th among the most impacted states in Nigeria ranking behind Lagos, FCT, Oyo, Edo and Rivers. The state has so far carried out tests on 4,980 persons and has so far achieved 99 percent contact tracing success rate.

The state also lost 35 patients on account of the pandemic.
