Andaye brokers peace in Ezebiri, restores normalcy ~ Truth Reporters

In a swift reaction to the lingering dispute in Ezebiri Community in Bomadi Local Government Area, the Executive Council Chairman , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has  brought the dramatis personae to a truce meeting, where earlier swords of contention , have been sheathed .

The climax of the peace meeting , via a town hall parley on Wednesday 9th September 2026, provided an amicable avenue for all aggrieved parties to deliberate and unanimously agree to the resolutions brokered by Hon Andaye , in his capacity as the Chief Security Officer of Bomadi local government area .

During the truce meeting , all parties involved , subsequently harmonized their positions in favour of a common peaceful position .

According to the terms of reference espoused by the Ezebiri people , all parties pledged to uphold their cherished values of peaceful coexistence , brotherhood and communal living , hallmarks of the Ezebiri people.

They thanked the Executive Chairman of the LGA, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , for his proactiveness in resolving the dispute, describing him as a committed leader with high moral and communal rectitude.

For his part, Hon Dagidi Andaye reiterated his administration's commitment towards ensuring peace across all communities in Bomadi Local Government Area, urging all residents to embrace dialogue as the pathway to resolving differences.

With the dispute finally resolved, the stage is set for the Ezebiri people , according to stakeholders, to focus on joining hands with the administration of Hon Andaye , to drive development to the area.
