Easter: Osanebi preaches faith, love, peace ~ Truth Reporters

As Christ did, Rt. Hon Friday Ossai Osanebi has called on Deltans, especially Ndokwa East people to forgive one another and show love to all, and live by faith not fear.

Friday Osaenbi who is the member representing Ndokwa East State constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, made the call this morning, in his Easter message.

Besides, he enjoined Deltans to be hopeful, maintaining that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has given Christians dominion over coronavirus and other human challenges and plagues.

In a goodwill message to mark this year’s Easter celebrations by Christians worldwide, the immediate past Deputy Speaker, said that Deltans should put behind them the events that has characterized the passed weeks globally and and live in faith not fear, even in peace and love as exemplified by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

“As Christians all over the world celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I urge our people to live by faith not fear, especially Ndokwa people, forgive one another and show love to all like Christ did, especially at a time like this ”, he stated.

He added that the resurrection power of Jesus Christ gave Christians all over the world, dominion over sickness and diseases.

Osanebi applauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his giant steps and efforts in curtailing the spread of the coronavirus in Delta State, and Deltans also for showing understanding, solidarity and support to government in order to make Delta free of the ravaging plague.

Osanebi noted that by His death and resurrection, Jesus Christ gave Christians victory over death, coronavirus and liberated them from its fear, stressing that Easter was a season for the renewal of personal covenant with God and the relationship with the family, friends and neighbours.

“I pray that the peace, love, victory and joy, which the death and resurrection of Jesus brought to humanity, shall be the portion of Nigerians, Deltans and particularly the good people of Ndokwa East State Constituency ”, Osanebi said.
