Adjogbe Praises Tinubu’s Economic Reforms, Makes Case for Second Term ~ Truth Reporters
Former Executive Director (Projects) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic policies, describing them as necessary steps towards repositioning Nigeria’s economy and achieving sustainable development.
Adjogbe argued that the removal of petrol subsidy and foreign exchange reforms, although initially painful, were necessary to address longstanding economic distortions and restore confidence in the economy. He also highlighted investments in infrastructure, domestic refining, education and other strategic sectors as important steps towards national development.
While acknowledging the economic difficulties facing Nigerians, particularly the high cost of living and declining purchasing power, he urged the Federal Government to strengthen social interventions, improve electricity supply, create employment opportunities and ensure that the benefits of economic reforms reach ordinary citizens.
Making a case for Tinubu’s second tenure, Adjogbe maintained that continuity would provide an opportunity to consolidate ongoing reforms, complete critical projects and translate current economic adjustments into lasting national prosperity. He urged Nigerians to look beyond partisan considerations and support policies that promote economic growth and development.
