As Nigeria marks its 66th Independence Anniversary, former Executive Director of Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Olorogun Samuel Adjogbe, PhD, FNSE, has extended warmth felicitations to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora, calling for renewed commitment to the ideals of unity, development and national progress.

In his Independence Day message, Olorogun Adjogbe urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and resilient while supporting initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori that promote economic growth, social development, good governance and improved opportunities for citizens.

He noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda is progressively translating into tangible improvements in the lives of Nigerians, particularly through investments in human capital, infrastructure, education, healthcare, job creation and the empowerment of young people.

According to him, the nation's challenges require collective responsibility, constructive engagement and a shared commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

Olorogun Adjogbe also called on Nigerians to rise above ethnic, religious and political differences and work together in the national interest, stressing that Nigeria's diversity should remain a source of strength rather than division.

He wished Nigerians a peaceful and prosperous 66th Independence Anniversary and expressed confidence that, with unity, determination and purposeful leadership, the country can achieve its full potential.
