Gbe at 50: Andaye Hails Accomplished Scholar, Intellectual ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has described Dr Alfred Oyinmiebi Gbe, the younger brother of the Chief Economic Adviser to the Delta State Governor, Dr Barry Gbe , as "an accomplished intellectual per excellence".

The Bomadi Council Boss, equally stressed that Dr Alfred Gbe's dedication to scholarship , excellence and nation building , continues to inspire.

Hon Andaye stated this on Saturday July 4th, 2026, when he joined dignitaries , the traditional elite , led by His Royal Majesty, Pere S.P. Luke Kalanama VIII,  King of Akugbene-Mein kingdom in Bomadi local government area, at the 50th birthday birthday anniversary and Book launch of Dr Alfred Oyinmiebi Gbe.

The epoch held at the prestigious Lemaco Hall, Port Harcourt, in the Rivers State Capital.

Hon Andaye comnended the golden jubilee celebrant for commemorating his birthday with a thought provoking book titled "Restoring Political Nobility in Nigeria : Pathway to Ethical Leadership".

The Bomadi Council Chairman , described Dr Gbe's well crafted  book , as a timely contribution to the national converstion on ethical leadership , responsible governance , as well as the restoration of noble values in public service.

While expressing delight at sharing the memorable occasion with the elder brother of the celebrant and Chief Economic Adviser to to the Executive Governor of Delta State , Chief ( Dr) Barry Pere Gbe, the Bomadi Council Chairman acknowledged the dignified presence of Pere of Akugbene-Mein kingdom , King Kalanama VIII, expressing admiration for the Monarch's commitment to peace , cultural preservation , and community development.

Hon Andaye commended the Gbe family for their sterling accomplishments in their chosen fields of humsh endeavour , singling out Dr Barry Gbe's steadfast commitment to public service and unwavering commitment to his larger family , virtues which reflected values of unity , excellence and fraternal bonds that have continued to distinguish the Gbe family.

Highpoints of the occasion included the public presentation of the book , "Restoring Political Nobility in Nigeria : Pathways to Ethical Leadership", as well as the launch and commendations from the distinguished array of guests , on the celebrant , Dr Alfred Oyinmiebi Gbe, PhD.
