Andaye Felicitates Supervisory Councillor for Health, Amas, on Successful Marriage ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has felicitated with the Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Amas, and his bride, Miss Toronto Ezonboere Tina, on the successful completion of their traditional dowry payment ceremony held at Obrigbene Community, Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Hon. Andaye, accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. (Mrs.) Poweide Guembe Bekes, members of his administration, and aides, joined family members, friends, and well-wishers on Thursday, 9th July, 2026, to witness the memorable customary rite.

The visit also afforded the Chairman the opportunity to reconnect with members of his maternal family in his ancestral community, making the occasion both personally significant and culturally remarkable.

Celebrating the milestone, Hon. Andaye congratulated Hon. Amas and Miss Toronto Ezonboere Tina for the successful fulfilment of the traditional dowry payment, describing it as a testament to the enduring values of culture, family, and commitment.

The Executive Chairman further expressed his anticipation of joining their families, friends, and well-wishers at the grand traditional marriage ceremony scheduled for Saturday, 11th July, 2026, at the Deaconess Tobore Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Event Centre, Bomadi.
