UNEC To Host 5Th International Virtual Conference ~ Truth Reporters

The Faculty of Business Administration, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC), in conjunction with Chief Emeka Offor Foundation for Business Research at the University has called for abstracts as they prepare for their 5th international virtual conference.
A statement signed by Rev. Fr. Prof Anthony Igwe and Dr Chidi Nnamani, Chairman and Secretary of Local Organizing Committee for the conference respectively, which was made available to newsmen at UNEC, revealed that the theme of the conference is, "Navigating Economic Uncertainty: Innovative Management Strategies For Sustainable Development In Emerging Economies."
According to the release, Keynote Speakers at the conference scheduled to hold on 25th and 26th of June, 2026 include Dr. Christopher Nwachukwu, the Managing Director cum Chief Executive Officer of Emco Oilfield Services Limited, Dr. Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo, the Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Industry, Enugu State, and Rt. Hon Engr. Uche Calistus Ugwu, Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly.
Organizers of the conference said the abstracts should be in the areas of debt crisis, technological distruption, climate risk, among others.
Prof. Billy Okoye of the University of Abuja will be the Lead Paper Presenter at the conference which will be virtual and would have the Vice Chancellor of UNN, Prof. Simon Ortuanya as Chief Host, while the Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, Prof J.U.J. Onwumere as host, and Prof. Robinson Ugwoke who also doubles as the Dean of the Faculty and Director of UNN Business School as co-host.
Prof. Ugwoke, thanked the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ortuanya, for encouraging academic activities that have distinguished the University of Nigeria as one of the best in Africa, assuring that a lot would be learnt at this year's conference.
When contacted for his reaction, Prof. Charles Obeta, a Lecturer in the Faculty disclosed that since its conception five years ago, the international conference has become a strong platform for proffering solutions to national economic and governance challenges of the society, expressing confidence that this year's event will witness more participants within and outside Nigeria. He enjoyed scholars across the globe including postgraduate students of the Faculty to take advantage of the conference to share their groundbreaking researches, and network.
