Andaye describes Ganagana's victory as "generational change" ~ Truth Reporters

Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has described the emergence of Rt Hon Basil Ganagana as standard bearer of the APC Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency , as "a generational change"
He equally thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, for creating what he described as "the peaceful democratic environment for this primary election".
Speaking with newsmen at Bomadi , headquarters of Bomadi local government after Ganagana's victory at the party primaries, Hon Andaye said he was particularly elated that this historic victory of democratic inclusiveness and equity, is coming during his time as Council Chairman of the local government .
While thanking Almighty God for the peaceful outcome of the primaries, the Council Boss said his role as Chief Security Officer was basically to ensure peace, transparency , free and fair democratic process which happened as anticipated.
On the mood of the people over Ganagana's victory, Hon Andaye revealed that the pronouncement of the victory , brought undiluted joy and relief to thousands of Bomadi people, an indication that they were never happy at the status quo all along .
Said Andaye :"The people are happy. As a Council Chairman, when you oversee the affairs of a local government, your first task is to ensure that the people you are overseeing are happy. Today, by this victory of Basil Ganagana, l discovered that the people of Bomadi Local Government , had not been happy all along. But by the pronouncement of this victory, l saw happiness on the faces of my people. That is sobering for me"
On his expectations from Rt Hon Ganagana if voted in as the next Federal lawmaker for the green chambers to represent the constituency, the Bomadi Council Chairman said he has full confidence in the ability of Ganagana to deliver the dividends of democracy , judging by his antecedents of being a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly with proven legislative experience and capabilities.
