Easter: Delta First Lady distributes fuel, food items, to Bomadi motorcyclists ~ Truth Reporters

In the spirit of the Easter celebrations, wife of the Delta State Governor and founder of the "You Matter Charity Foundation." Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, has distributed free fuel and food items to over 500 motorcycle riders , popularly known as "okada riders", in Bomadi Local Government Area.
The Delta first lady , who was represented by the wife of the Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye , said the gesture is not only to celebrate the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, but also in response to the economic challenges faced by the motorcycle riders in carrying out their legitimate business of catering for their families and dependants.
Mrs Andaye also addressed the beneficiaries , adding that the gesture is part of activities initiated by the Delta First Lady to celebrate the Easter with the people of the local government area.
The Bomadi Council Chairman's wife urged the people of the local government, to reflect on the solemnity of the Easter which said , speaks of salvation and victory over the bondage of sin, thus admonishing all and sundry to be yielded to Christlike living.
Mrs Andaye also tasked the motorcycle riders to remain law abiding and put the administrations of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Bomadi Council Chairman, Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , in prayers.
In their separate responses , the elated motorcycle riders , thanked the Delta First Lady for her sensitivity to their socio-economic plight during the Easter celebration, saying the gesture has immensely bolstered their financial fortunes immeasurably.
They also thanked the wife of the Bomadi Council Chairman , Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye, for faithfully carrying out the Delta First Lady's kind gesture.
The climax of the event was the free dispense of fuel to the elated motorcycle riders and distribution of food to mark the Easter celebrations.
