Botched Ritual Attack: Andaye Declares Bomadi Unsafe for Criminals, Visits Victim ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, has declared that Bomadi will not serve as a safe haven for criminal elements under his watch, following a botched ritual attack in the area.

Hon. Andaye disclosed that proactive security measures, including enhanced intelligence gathering and closer collaboration with community vigilante groups, have been strengthened across the local government to curb criminal activities.

The Bomadi Council boss made these remarks during an unscheduled visit to the victim of the attack, who is currently receiving treatment at Bomadi General Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Visibly disturbed by the incident, Hon. Andaye, accompanied by his wife, Rejoice, charged all security agencies within the local government to act swiftly and decisively in apprehending the perpetrators, stressing that justice must be served without delay.

Reaffirming his role as Chief Security Officer of the local government, the chairman assured residents of his administration’s unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, security, and public order.

He also urged members of the public to remain vigilant and support security agencies with credible information that could aid ongoing investigations.

During the visit, Hon. Andaye extended financial assistance to other patients in the hospital to help offset their medical expenses and offered prayers for their speedy recovery, demonstrating his administration’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of the people.

Welcoming the chairman and his entourage, the medical doctor on duty informed him that the victim—an elderly woman attacked by suspected ritualists on March 18, 2026—had been stabilized and was responding well to treatment.

The doctor commended Hon. Andaye for his prompt intervention and humanitarian gesture, noting that the victim’s recovery was aided by timely medical care.

Other patients in the ward also expressed appreciation to the council chairman for his compassion, describing his visit as a source of hope and encouragement in their time of need.
