Ijeh Declares Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori’s Re-election, Urges APC E-Registration, PVC Mobilisation ~ Truth Reporters
Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Darlington Nnamdi Ijeh, has declared his total and unflinching support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the continuation of the administration of Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in the 2027 general elections.
Dr. Ijeh described both leaders as tested, visionary and courageous reformers whose leadership, he said, remains critical to Nigeria’s stability, unity and sustainable development.
He called on party faithful, stakeholders, youths and grassroots supporters to rise to their civic and political responsibilities by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and fully participating in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) e-registration exercise.
According to the Commissioner, mass political participation is the surest pathway to consolidating the gains of progressive governance and securing victory for the APC in 2027.
He stressed that voter mobilisation and party registration were essential tools for strengthening democracy and entrenching people-oriented leadership at all levels.
Dr. Ijeh further commended President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, describing it as a bold, reform-driven blueprint deliberately designed to reposition Nigeria’s economy, strengthen institutions, empower local governments and accelerate infrastructure development across the federation.
While acknowledging that some of the reforms may be challenging, he maintained that they are necessary to rescue the nation and lay a solid foundation for inclusive growth and long-term prosperity.
In Delta State, the Commissioner praised Governor Oborevwori’s leadership under the MORE Agenda—Meaningful Development, Opportunities for All, Realistic Reforms, and Enhanced Peace and Security—saying the administration has continued to deliver tangible dividends of democracy, particularly at the grassroots.
He described the Governor as a bridge-builder whose inclusive approach to governance has fostered unity, stability and people-centred development across the state.
Dr. Ijeh emphasized that the continuity of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda is non-negotiable for sustained national and state advancement, adding that the 2027 elections present an opportunity for Nigerians to reaffirm their support for progressive leadership.
He concluded that the #Sheriff/BAT2027 project represents not just a campaign slogan, but a collective mission and a clear political destination for supporters of good governance and sustainable development.
