Birthday/Yultide Celebration: Odogu Distributes Rice, Salt To 200 Delta Community Women ~ Truth Reporters

The Executive Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Community Development, Hon.Emakpor Odogu has hosted Emede Community Women in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State to a colourful ceremony where food items were distributed to beneficiaries.


His Birthday/Yuletide celebration, held in Emede, his hometown, witnessed the distribution of rice and salt  to about 200 women, cutting across the entire community.


The event attracted a large gathering of political stakeholders, including members of the APC in the community, friends and well wishers of Hon. Emakpor Odogu.



The colourful event also witnessed worship and praise from the community women.


Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Emakpor Odogu expressed gratitude to God Almighty for His grace and blessings, describing the season/birthday as a time for sharing and putting smile on the people.


He appreciated the Delta State Governor, Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, for demonstrating inclusive leadership and serious commitment to the development of Delta State.



He also commended Governor Oborevwori for what he described as giant strides across the state and urged stakeholders and the community women, to continue to support the Governor to enable him deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of the state.



Mrs. Esther Etene and Mrs. Oge Christo during an interview said that, "We are happy that, Hon. Emakpor Odogu gave rice and salt to us, it is a gift from him, we are satisfied, because we are of age and we need to be carter for, we pray for him to go up, up, he will move from one higher position to another".
