Community Petitions Delta Monarch’s Son Over Alleged Mismanagement of Tantita Security Slots, Funds ~ Truth Reporters

The people of Enhwe Community in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State have petitioned the son of their monarch, Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha, over alleged mismanagement of Tantita Security Surveillance slots and funds.

 

In a petition signed by Comrade Uzuazor Simon, who also serves as the Financial Secretary of the Isoko National Youth Assembly, the community expressed deep dissatisfaction with the leadership style of Prince Efekodha, describing it as unfair and contrary to the collective interest of Enhwe.

 

According to the petition, “We hereby pass a vote of no confidence on the leadership approach of Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha, the coordinator of the Tantita Security Management Surveillance of Enhwe community. His actions have failed to reflect fairness and the overall interest of the community.”

 

The petitioners alleged that slots and funds meant for Tantita Security Surveillance in Enhwe were diverted for personal gain. The statement noted that opportunities intended for community youths were being exploited by the coordinator, leaving indigenous beneficiaries unjustly deprived while community resources were allegedly controlled and used for self-serving purposes.

 

Comrade Uzuazor also condemned what he described as the “deliberate expulsion and marginalization of qualified and credible indigenes of Enhwe in matters relating to decision-making,” warning that such practices threaten communal harmony and could spark avoidable conflict if not addressed.

 

He further lamented a “clear lack of transparency, accountability, and credible leadership” on the part of the coordinator, stating that decisions were often taken without proper consultation with community stakeholders.

 

While reaffirming Enhwe’s commitment to peace, unity, and respect, the petition stressed that remaining silent in the face of perceived injustice would contradict the community’s values and its responsibility to future generations.

 

The statement added: “We openly condemn the alleged actions of Prince Larry Eduvie Efekodha, who has used his political influence to allocate all Tantita Security Management Surveillance slots to himself and his chosen individuals. 

Those selectively considered are treated unfairly, receiving only minimal benefits while he retains the majority share. This treatment reduces our people to modern-day slavery within their own land, contradicting the principles upon which the Tantita Security Management Surveillance system is built.”

 

The Enhwe community is therefore demanding a comprehensive review and audit of the allocation process for the Tantita Surveillance slots as it concerns their community. They also called for the immediate introduction of transparent checks and balances, equitable distribution of opportunities, and inclusive participation of stakeholders to prevent unilateral control by any single individual.

 

The petitioners urged the Management of Tantita Security Surveillance, relevant security agencies, and the Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area to act swiftly, fairly, and justly to prevent future conflict and safeguard peace within the kingdom.
