Andaye Joins Manager, Safugha, Others to Bid Pa Lucky Barbar Farewell in Bomadi ~ Truth Reporters

 

Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, joined immediate past Senator representing Delta South, Senator James Ebiowou Manager, former Commissioner for Energy, Hon. Newworld Safugha, and several other political leaders and community stakeholders to pay their last respects to Late Chief Lucky Barbar, JP.

 

The deceased was the father of the Supervisor for Education, Youths, and Sports Development in Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Ekiyor Barbar.

 

Speaking during the burial ceremony held at Olou Primary School, Bomadi, Hon. Andaye described the late Chief Barbar as “a distinguished statesman whose life embodied honour, sacrifice, and selfless leadership.”

 

The Bomadi Council Chairman noted that the late patriarch’s contributions to community development and social cohesion were invaluable. 

He emphasized that Pa Barbar’s enduring legacy should continue to inspire present and future leaders in their commitment to service and the greater good.

 

Extending his heartfelt condolences to the Barbar family particularly to his Supervisor for Education, Youths, and Sports Development, Hon. Ekiyor Barbar, Hon. Andaye urged them to find solace in the profound impact and noble reputation their father left behind.

 

The ceremony was rounded off with solemn prayers and traditional rites, reaffirming the community’s collective commitment to uphold the values of integrity, service, and unity exemplified by the late Chief Lucky Barbar.
