Bomadi Chairman Andaye Deepens Community Engagement in Akugbene, Ogriagbene ~ Truth Reporters







The Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Council, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, continued his inclusive leadership journey with meaningful engagements in Akugbene Community and Ogriagbene Federated Community, reinforcing his administration’s focus on unity, peace, and people-centered development.


At Akugbene Community, the Chairman joined community leaders and stakeholders in celebrating one of their illustrious sons, Prof. Solomon Tamaraubrakemi Ebobrah, on his appointment as Vice Chancellor, University of Africa. The atmosphere was filled with pride and gratitude as the Chairman described the appointment as a landmark achievement not only for Akugbene but for the entire Bomadi Local Government Area.


Hon. Andaye praised the community for nurturing excellence and emphasized the importance of education in shaping a brighter future for the younger generation. He noted that Prof. Ebobrah’s elevation stands as a source of motivation to youths, encouraging them to pursue academic and professional excellence with determination.


Following the Akugbene visit, the Chairman proceeded to Ogriagbene Federated Community to attend their 25th Annual Convention, themed “Peace, Prosperity & Development.” The convention served as a platform for unity, reflection, and dialogue on the collective progress of the community.


In his remarks, Hon. Andaye stressed that peace and cooperation remain the bedrock of meaningful development. He commended the Ogriagbene people for sustaining the annual convention over the years and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with communities to advance grassroots development.
