2027: Ughelli North APC Leaders pledge landslide victory for Tinubu, Oborevwori, other party candidates ~ Truth Reporters

In what is described as the first major convergence since the recent merger of political structures in the local government , leaders of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Ughelli North Local government area , have unanimously pledged to deliver President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , and all party candidates in the 2027 general elections .

The strategic meeting which held at the Camp Moses residence of Ughelli North Local Government Council, Hon Jaro Egbo at Abovwe , Uduere in the council area , brought together influential party stakeholders who projected a unified front , anchored on solidarity , reconciliation , and readiness for electoral victory .

In his remarks , a founding member of the APC and Leader of the party in Ughelli North, Olorogun Otega Emerhor , lauded the defection of Governor Oborevwori and the entire PDP structure into the APC, describing it as "the beginning of a new dawn".

Noting that the development has positioned the APC for unprecedented political strenght in the State , Olorogun Emerhor also lauded the renewed unity within the party , while urging elected and appointed officials to give their full support , as preparations commence in earnest , for the 2027 general elections .

Host of the meeting and Chairman Ughelli North Local Government Council, Hon Jaro Egbo , urged party members to deepen mobilization efforts , noting that Ughelli North , Delta,s largest voting block, must deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori .

Said Egbo: "As a party , we are all sailing together . Our mandate is simple : deliver all APC candidates in 2027".

Ughelli North APC Chairman , Samuel Evwighono, described the meeting as historic , but expressed concern over the low collection of Permanent Voters Cards ( PVCs) , across the council area, urging ward leaders to mobilize residents for massive participation in the ongoing voter registration exercise .

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor , Sir Festus Ahon, also called for unity and unwavering support for President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, emphasizing that Ughelli North must lead efforts to consolidate the APC

Others who spoke in unison included Prof Sam Ibodje, Hon Matthew Omonade, Commissioner for Transport, Onoriode Agofure , Surveyor Terry Noah and all the eleven ward Chairmen of the party in the area .
