Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of Hon. Victor Asasa, the immediate past Chairman of Isoko South Local Government Area.

In a heartfelt condolence message released earlier today, Hon. Ukodhiko described the late council boss as “a good man in every sense of the word” and praised his humility, kindness, and dedication to peace and service.

“Hon. Asasa was humble, kind-hearted, and peace-loving. He exemplified friendship, simplicity, and genuine leadership rooted in service to others,” Ukodhiko said.

The lawmaker acknowledged the profound pain caused by the loss, urging the bereaved family and the people of Isoko South to find solace in the universal truth that every human must one day walk the path of mortality.

“Though his passing is a painful and irreplaceable one, I urge the family and all who were very close to him to take solace in the truth that every mortal must one day walk this inevitable path of fate,” he stated.

Extending condolences on behalf of his family and constituents, Ukodhiko sympathized with the Asasa family of Aviara and the entire Isoko South community, praying for divine comfort and strength in their time of grief.

“May God, in His infinite mercy, grant his soul eternal rest and give his family the fortitude to bear this great loss,” the statement read.

Ukodhiko added that the late Asasa’s legacy would live on, not just within his immediate circle, but across the entire Isoko Nation and Delta State.

“Undoubtedly, Hon. Victor Asasa will be greatly missed, not only by his immediate family but by the entire Isoko Nation and Delta State at large.”

Hon. Victor Asasa served as Chairman of Isoko South Local Government with distinction and was widely respected for his grassroots leadership and commitment to community development.

Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by the family in the coming days.
