Delta AFAN disclaims Ohwojero-led splinter group, affirms body is one ~ Truth Reporters

 

The Delta State chapter of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria ( AFAN) under the leadership of Sir Richard Asenime , has disclaimed a splinter group led by Pastor Sunny Ohwojero, describing the breakaway group as "renegades"

Delta AFAN has therefore dissociated itself from any purported inauguration of the Ohwojero led splinter group on Thursday 30th 2025, describing tye activity as "illegal and an affront on duly constituted AFAN led by its National President , Alhaji Kabiru lbrahim

In a statement issued Delta AFAN Chairman , Sir Richard Asenime , the   activities of the Pastor Sunny Ohwojero led splinter group has grossly undermined the laid down constitution of the Association, in such a manner that it's collaborators have taken laws into their hands , in spite of a subsisting legal dispute which is currently at the supreme court stage

Sir Asenime therefore advised Prophet Sunny Ohwojero and his co-travelers in the AFAN splinter group to be guided by the rule of law and the association,s constitution, and await the Supreme court,s judgement on the matter brought by aggrieved AFAN member before it

He therefore said all measures have been made by Delta AFAN under his watch, to alert the Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources , Barr Val Ada Arenyeka, as well as all security agencies in the state , not to accord the Prophet Sunny Ohwojero led Delta AFAN splinter group, any form of recognition, as their activities are not recognized by the National body of AFAN , under the leadership of the National President, Alhaji Kabiru lbrahim
