The Delta State Chapter of the Southern Nigeria Youth Congress (SNYC) is set to confer special honors on distinguished individuals who have championed youth development, engagement, and empowerment in the state. 

Hon. Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, Executive Chairman of Warri South LGA, will be decorated as the Grand Patron, while notable figures such as Barr. Possible Ajede (Executive Chairman, Ukwuani LGA), Barr. Trakiriowei Harry Thankgod (Commissioner for Youth Development), Hon. Onoriode Agofure (Commissioner for Transport), Engr. Michael Anoka (Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Renewal), Dcn. Engr. Stephen Enameguolo Dorume, Hon. Anowu Chinwe Margret (Vice Chairman, Ndokwa West), Comrade Idolor Theophilus, and Comrade Fredrick Chuks Enuneku will be honored as Patrons.

According to Comrade Wiska Monday, State Chairman of SNYC, these individuals have been at the forefront of youth development initiatives in Delta State, making them deserving of this recognition. 

The conferment ceremony will take place on September 9, 2025, during the inauguration of the State Executive Council, LGA Representatives, Secretaries, and Directors of Media at the State Secretariat in Asaba.

The event will also mark the official flag-off of the Delta SNYC Real-Time Skill Empowerment program for 500 youths across the 25 LGAs in Delta State. 

This initiative aligns with SNYC's vision to provide a platform for youth development, engagement, and empowerment, equipping young people with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive.
